Beaucraft vintage sterling rings are still available
Vintage means something that relates to a particular era for instance Victorian architecture, or Art Deco jewelry.
In 1947 the Beaucraft company was started in Providence, Rhode Island. They manufactured souvenir spoons, key chains and other novelties.
The founders retired in 2007 after 53 years. The inventory was bought by a company called Amsco, which continues to supply Beaucraft products to its vendors and strives to maintain high quality in their products.
They make pieces in 14k gold, gold over silver and polished silver giving a new look for classic and vintage jewelry which still bear the Beaucraft name. Most pieces are marked with the Beau trademark.
Most of the vintage pieces I have seen are under $15.00. The company also makes other jewelry. They have vintage earrings, bracelets and charms, all at reasonable prices.
Check out auction sites, estate sales, auctions and even thrift stores and yard sales. Many people don’t know what they have and just want to get rid of mom or grandma’s junk. Most Beaucraft pieces will be marked with the Beau trademark.
The company was the leading producer of fine sterling rings. They used a wide variety of designs and gem stones in their vintage style rings and other pieces such as bracelets and earrings.
We found a really unusual looking ring, it looks like a pin cushion with golf tees, it has a 1960’s retro look. My favorite is a gorgeous s-shaped ring. It resembles a ring my aunt had during the 1960’s. I can’t say for sure that hers was a “Beau” creation.
Beau jewelry can sometimes be found in large department stores and independent jewelers, they sell mostly charms and vintage pieces. Recent pieces are gold over silver, 14k gold and the 1960’s brushed and polished silver. I found a lovely ring with a faux ruby which I am going to buy.
