He just loved to go to car exhibitions and make photos of the beautiful vintage cars. He always printed the photos made of himself in front of the cars and framed them, his room was full of such pictures.
When I was a little girl, I liked to look at the photos, and I always told my dad that he should get a vintage car for himself. Of course back then we were in bad financial situation, and we couldn't even think about buying a normal car, not to mention a vintage one.
A few weeks ago as I was looking in a bridal magazine I found an article about vintage wedding cars for sale. They were amazing: I especially liked a white convertible Buick tourer and a white Burgundy Rolls Royce. They both had leather seats and they were in impeccable condition.
I already decided with my fiancée to hire a vintage wedding car for our wedding day, but now I was contemplating whether we could actually buy one of these cars. We didn't have a car yet because we didn't need one, and a vintage car would be perfect for us because we would only use it on special occasions.
I also thought that my dad would be thrilled by the idea, and he could finally take a ride in a retro car whenever he feels like it. After talking to my husband we decided to give up our honeymoon and buy one of the vintage wedding cars instead.
When we arrived to the reception party in the Buick tourer convertible, everyone just gasped, especially my dad. We didn't tell anyone about the car because we wanted to make a surprise. After the wedding I told my dad that I found the car in an article about vintage wedding cars for sale and that he can take it for a ride whenever he wants. He told me this has been the nicest gift he had ever received.
